Anthony "Tony" Jones (born. July 10, 1961) is an Australian sports journalist.

In his career, Jones has been most noted for his work with the Nine Network in Australia, as a sports reporter for National Nine News and host of Sunday's edition of The Footy Show.

One of the most famous incidents he has reported on in recent times was the Whispers in the Sky umpiring scandal in the Australian Football League. This caused criticism towards Jones, some labelling him a "gutter journalist"[citation needed].

In addition to his work on National Nine News, he has also been a boundary rider during Nine's AFL coverage, and presented a horseracing show with Simon Marshall on SEN 1116 in 2004. In April 2007, Jones was added to the Vega 915 breakfast team Dave and Denise with Shaun Micallef as the Sport reporter. He can be heard on Vega 915 from 8am Mondays and Fridays.

Jones, also fills in occasionally for Cameron Williams presenting sport on the Today.
