Torrena

The Torrena is a 336.5 meter-high telecommunications and entertainment tower in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The tower has been under construction since the spring of 2005.
The Torrena is being constructed in the municipality of Zapopan in an area of 17,720 m², right next to the Plaza del Sol shopping mall, and is expected to be finished by 2007. It will be the twenty-fourth-highest tower in the world, and the highest in Latin America. It will include banks, coffee and souvenir shops and two restaurants (one of them with a revolving floor), among other spaces destined to entertainment and telecommunications.
