Contents

  • He is an avid figure collector and especially likes collecting figures of characters he has played. His favorite of these is Piccolo, of whom he has collected all versions. He also enjoys model train sets.
  • In stark contrast to his famous role of Ataru Moroboshi, he claims to be shy when talking to women and also has a rather serious personality. Because of this, people who are meeting him for the first time have been known to ask him "Did you really play that role, Furukawa-san?".
  • He is Christian, and upon hearing of the late Hirotaka Suzuoki's deteriorating condition he has said that he prayed that his soul would be allowed into Heaven.
