Trackmasters Entertainment is a successful record production company, run by Poke (Jean-Claude Olivier) and Tone also known as Red Hot Lover Tone (Sam Barnes). They started off in the early 90's producing beats for hip-hop acts such as Big Daddy Kane, Chubb Rock and R.A. The Rugged Man (Crustified Dibbs). The duo since has produced hits for Method Man and songs for a number of other hip-hop and R&B artists, including Nas, Jay-Z, Will Smith, Mya, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, The Notorious B.I.G., 50 Cent, Destiny's Child, Foxy Brown, and LL Cool J. During the late-1990s and early 2000s, Poke and Tone had a production deal with Columbia Records and had acts such as the R&B group Blaque signed to their Trackmasters imprint. The label also went into collaboration with Mariah Carey's shortlived Crave Records on the debut album of girl group Allure.

More recently, Samuel "Tone" Barnes (referring to himself as "Tone the Referee") was the executive producer of the R. Kelly & Jay-Z album Unfinished Business, the second album in the Best of Both Worlds series, as well as Yummy Bingham's album.
