Traders Hotel, Dubai

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Traders Hotel, Dubai, a Shangri-La Hotel, opened in July 2004 was the result of a management agreement between Shangri-La International Hotels & Resorts and Oman-based Zubair Corporation. The opening of Traders Hotel, Dubai, a four-star deluxe 250-room property, reflects the debut of the Traders brand in the Middle East region and is the sixth Traders Hotel for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts worldwide.

Operating under the same philosophies and management structure as Shangri-La hotels, the Traders brand caters toward a specific mid-market niche which complements Shangri-La's deluxe properties in key city centres, such as Dubai.

Located in the bustling business and commercial district of Deira, the Traders Hotel, Dubai epitomizes a contemporary minimalist style utilizing exquisite furnishings and design elements throughout. The hotel, designed by Architectural firm Badri & Bensouda with its interior by Julia Dempster of Interior Motives, features a warm and inviting lobby which forms the heart of the hotel and provides the ideal place to meet business colleagues or just socialize with friends. Located on the lobby level guests will also find the unique multi cuisine dining concept known as "The Junction" and an ultra chic evening meeting place called the "Chameleon Bar" offering nightly live entertainment.

All of the guest rooms feature broadband internet access, interactive TV, IDD telephone with voice mail, electronic in-room locker, private mini-bar, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
