Trans States Airlines is a regional airline based in St. Louis, Missouri. It operates as American Connection for American Airlines, United Express for United Airlines and US Airways Express for US Airways.

The company was founded in 1985 to feed Trans World Airlines flights at Lambert-Saint Louis International Airport. Trans States Airlines operated Delta Connection flights from March 1998 to March 31, 2000, mainly from the Boston and New York focus cities. It began operations as Resort Air in 1983 and changed its name to Trans states Airlines in 1989.
