Triviidae is a taxonomic family of small sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the infraorder Littorinimorpha, within the order Sorbeoconcha.

Species in this family are found in most temperate and tropical seas.

[edit] Shell description

Shells of this family are mostly small, oval or rounded, of cowry-shape, with the outer lip incurved to form a narrow denticulate aperture. The sculpture is of transverse ribs that may be interrupted by a dorsal groove.
