U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa

The United States District Court for the District of Iowa is the Federal district court whose jurisdiction is comprised of approximately the Southern half of the state of Iowa. The court has locations in Des Moines and Davenport.

The United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Iowa represents the United States in civil and criminal litigation in the court and has staffed offices in Des Moines and Davenport and an unstaffed office in Council Bluffs.

The current United States Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa is Matthew G. Whitaker.
