The URL u.tv is the address of the main website of UTV the Northern Irish ITV franchise holder. The website offers News, Sport and Entertainment news and is also home to the companies ISP services.

UTV owns the internet service provider UTV Internet, through which they provide broadband and dial-up internet packages. UTV operates this service in both Northern Ireland, and the Republic. Although they do not target internet subscribers outside the island of Ireland, the dial-up service is also available in Great Britain.
Due to the large number of viewers in the Republic of Ireland and the political situation in Northern Ireland, UTV always operated a .co.uk and .ie website prior to the availability of the .tv top-level domain. They were displayed at the same height from the base of the screen to avoid accusations of favouritism. This was after use of the UTV Internet URL www.utvinternet.com on the company's Television Idents caused a number of competitors to complain to the Advertising Standards Authority, the URL was later removed. Even so, www.utv.co.uk, www.utv.ie and www.utvinternet.com all pointed to the same web location, so the victory over UTV was somewhat shallow.
