UZI Suicide

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

UZI Suicide was a record label that was created by Guns N' Roses to release their first record, Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide. The next record (Appetite for Destruction) was released through Geffen Records although Uzi Suicide legally remained in control of this, and all other GNR recordings (effectively giving the band an additional degree of control over their music) until the company was closed down when the band went into hiatus in the late 90's. The label also re-released albums by the Finnish glam band Hanoi Rocks.

At this point control of the companies assets was transfered to the band members, primarily Axl's new publishing company: Black Frog.
