Ultimate Aaliyah, was released in May of 2005 (U.K.) and was available for online order & import on June 27th 2006 (U.S.)it is the second compilation dedicated to late R&B singer Aaliyah. The collection includes two compact discs and one DVD video disc.

The first compact disc is a greatest hits compilation, including all of Aaliyah's biggest & minor U.S. Hits (in their LP Versions) and 2 Of her minor/moderate UK hits but leaves out one of her top ten R&B hits "Come Over"(#9 U.S. R&B/Hip-Hop Songs) one of her minor U.S. hits & the rest of her U.K. minor/moderate hits such as: "Age Ain't Nothing But a Number,"(#75 US Billboard Hot 100) "Journey to the Past" from the film Anastasia (#22 UK Top 40),"Down With The Clique"(#33 UK Top 40) , & "The Thing I Like" (#33 UK Top 40) from the film A Low Down Dirty Shame " & The minor US R&B Airplay hit "Are You Ready" (#42 US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay)from the film Sunset Park. The second disc, is entitled Are You Feelin' Me, the song "Are you Feelin' Me" was also released as a promo single in the UK to promote the album but the song failed to Chart on any of the UK Charts, the second disk compiles several of Aaliyah's tracks that were included on both soundtrack albums and on studio albums for labelmate Timbaland. The bonus DVD runs sixty minutes, and features promo clips, interviews, and special features. Among the included DVD material are an MTV Special, The Life Of Aaliyah, a Tribute To Aaliyah, Aaliyah's VH1 Behind the Music installment, and her E! True Hollywood Story episode.

The compilation debuted at #32 on the UK Top 40 Album Chart
