The United Hockey League (UHL) is a professional ice hockey league with teams in the United States. The league is headquartered in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.

Formed in 1991 as the Colonial Hockey League, it had teams in Brantford, Ontario; Detroit, Michigan; Flint, Michigan; St. Thomas, Ontario; and Thunder Bay, Ontario. There was also supposed to be a team in Newmarket, Ontario, but that never came to be. The league changed its name to the United Hockey League for the 1997-1998 season.
