Upper Montclair is an unincorporated area and neighborhood within Montclair in Essex County, New Jersey, United States. The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP code 07043. It is often misperceived to be a separate town from Montclair, perhaps aided by this postal designation

As of the United States 2000 Census, the population for ZIP Code Tabulation Area 07043 was 11,915.[1]
