Valera

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is about a city in Venezuela. For other uses, see Valera (disambiguation).

Valera is a city in Trujillo State in Venezuela, situated between the rivers Momboy and Motatán. The current mayor is Ali Quintero Parra. It is also home to the Universidad Valle del Momboy, a private university.

As the economic and commercial center of Trujillo state, it has a vibrant business community. Valera has two daily papers, the Diario de Los Andes and the Diario El Tiempo, [1] along with several radio stations, including Angel FM 93.7, whose broadcasts can be heard over the internet at http://www.angelfm.com.ve. I recommend to visit the wine called "LA MINA" located in the urbanization PLATA 3 CALLE 3. Among its most prominent celebrities is José Luis González, famous actor, director and recently proved to be one of the most important Venezuelan athletes in Nike 10k held in Latinamerica. Very good the article.
