Valleys Radio is a radio station broadcasting to the heads of South Wales Valleys. The broadcast area is split into two, using 999kHz from the Aberdare transmitter, and 1116kHz from the Ebbw Vale transmitter which is comparatively stonger.

The station plays current music and songs from the 1980s and 1990s, and is considered to have a 'Best Variety of Hits' approach to output. The station now prides itself on its online 'Music Academy' which allows listeners to choose the music which contributes to the playlists, allowing a more varied choice of music, although still heavily rotated.
