Vancouver Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actor in a Canadian Film

The Vancouver Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actor in Canadian Film is an annual award given by the Vancouver Film Critics Circle. In 2000 and 2001 the award was only given to Canadian actors, the last few years every actor who plays in a Canadian production can win the award.

2000: Brendan Fletcher

for his role as "Stick" in Rollercoaster

2001: Benjamin Ratner

for his role as "Noah" in Last Wedding

2002: Callum Keith Rennie

for his role as "Ed" in Flower & Garnet

2003: Philip Seymour Hoffman

for his role as "Dan Mahowny" in Owning Mahowny

2004: Don McKellar

for his role as "Rick Schiller" in Childstar

2005: Marc-André Grondin

for his role as "Zachary Beaulieu (from age 15 to 21)" in C.R.A.Z.Y.
