Verotik

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Verotik is an mature-themed comic book company founded in the early 90's by famous hard rock/ punk musician Glenn Danzig (singer and songwriter for legendary bands The Misfits, Samhain and Danzig). The comics he produces are aimed for adult readers and they often contain imagery of a sexual and/or violent nature. 'Verotik' is a portmanteau created by Glenn Danzig from the words 'violent' and 'erotic'.

Glenn Danzig had been a big comic book fan and collector since childhood and being a talented artist himself he once wanted to become a comic book writer and artist. And as is evident in the music he makes, he has always had a big fascination for horror and gore, in movies and music, as well as art.
