Viacheslav Zagorodniuk

Viacheslav Zagorodniuk (Ukrainian: Вячеслав Загоронюк) (born August 11, 1972 in Odessa, Ukraine (then USSR) is a former Ukrainian figure skater. He represented the USSR until its fall. After that, he represented Ukraine.
Zagorodniuk was initially coached by Galina Zmievskaya and later worked with Valentin Nikolaev. Over the course of his career, Zagorodniuk won four bronze medals and one silver medal at the European Figure Skating Championships, as well as won the 1996 European Figure Skating Championships. He turned professional in April 1998. Since then, Zagorodniuk participated in some film and TV productions, such as “The Christmas Angel: A Story on Ice“.
