Le Vigan is a town and commune of the Gard département, in southern France. It is a sous-préfecture of Gard.

This small French town is located at the south of the Massif Central and near of the Mont Aigoual, in the Arre valley.
As many towns in the Cévennes, there were many textile industries there in the past.
Le Vigan is a touristic place during summer time.
