WAIT (850 AM) is a radio station licensed to Crystal Lake, Illinois. Until November 25, 2007, the station was part of the Relevant Radio Christian network. Its current format is unknown at this time.

The station is licensed by the FCC as a Class D station, hence it only broadcasts during daytime hours. The station signs off from sunset to sunrise to protect 850 KOA from Denver.

For many years this station played Adult Standards, on May 5, 2005, AM 850 launched progressive talk with the new call letters WCPT. The WAIT call letters were moved to 820 AM and was purchased by Starboard Broadcasting. The station's motto was, "The World's Most Beautiful Music".

On November 26, 2007, the WAIT call sign will return to 850 AM, as WCPT moves to 820 AM. [1]
