WCNY-TV is Syracuse, New York's public television station and PBS affiliate. Its channels are both UHF: channel 24 for analog and channel 25 for digital television.

WCNY TV This primary television channel features public television signature series like NOVA, NATURE, MYSTERY!, Sesame Street, This Old House and Antiques Roadshow, in addition to HOUR CNY, Financial Fitness, The Ivory Tower Half Hour and several other locally produced series and specials about the people, places and events in Central New York.

WCNY 2 is a "how-to" channel features programs on home improvement, sewing, cooking, and much more, and is located at Channel 12 on Time Warner Cable systems in Onondaga and Oswego Counties, and on the Cazenovia system.

WCNY DT (Time Warner channel 850 / broadcast channel 24.1) is the digital version of analog WCNY-TV, and also features programs in high-definition.

WCNY Encore (Time Warner channel 851, 24-hours / broadcast channel 24.2 , 6am - 1am)broadcasts:

WCNY-TV's primetime broadcast programs from the previous evening, starting at 6am. These programs will repeat between 10am - 2pm and 2pm - 6pm; Children's programming 6pm - 9pm; News and financial programs 9pm - 12midnight; and Programs shown 6pm - 12 midnight on WCNY Encore will be rebroadcast between 12midnight and 6am.

WCNY Create (Time Warner channel 852 / broadcast channel 24.3) broadcasts travel and cooking.

WCNY-HD (Not available on Time Warner Cable / broadcast channel 24.4) offers a full day of shows broadcast in a true high-definition format.

WCNY-TV's programming is also seen in Utica on low-powered repeater W59AU channel 59.

The station is owned by The Public Broadcasting Council of Central New York, who also owns 91.3 WCNY-FM (Classic FM).

The WCNY-TV call letters were originally used from 1954-65 by the station now known as WWNY-TV in Watertown.
