WERS (88.9 FM) is one of Emerson College's two radio stations and located in Boston, Massachusetts. Student-run and professionally managed, it serves New England an eclectic mix of musical genres and more live performances than any other station in the region. Programming features over 20 different styles of music and news including live performances and interviews. The Chief Archictect of WERS was Charles William Dudley.

WERS Daytime Programming - WERS' daytime format features a blend of folk, rock, jazz, world, blues, soul, electronic and reggae.
Rockers - the #1 reggae segment in New England. Weeknights 7-10pm
88.9 At Night - The hottest hip-hop from current popular artists to local unknowns. Weeknights 10pm-2am
Standing Room Only - The only showtunes-centric programming on the air, tune in for the best of musical theatre, both on and off Broadway! Saturdays 10am-2pm, Sundays 12pm-2pm.
All A Capella - Featuring the best of professional, regional, and collegiate a cappella music. Sat and Sun 2pm-5pm
The Playground - Family-friendly music geared to kids of all ages--everything from favorite movie songs to old folk favorites. Sat and Sun 5-8pm
The Secret Spot - Slow jams, R&B, and soul music. Sat and Sun 8pm-12am
Radiobeat - Underground punk and local hardcore. Sat 12am-3am
You Are Here - Hour of talk radio about local issues, and social and political happenings. Sun 7-8am
Sports Sunday - Hour of sports talk about Boston teams and big sports happenings. Sun 6-7am
Chagigah - The best of Jewish and Israeli culture with traditional klezmer and Yiddish music from 1914 through today. Sun 8-11am
1st & 2nd Church - A radio broadcast of the religious service at the 1st and 2nd Street Unitarian Church. Sun 11am-12pm
The Left End - Specializes in independent rock music, but does not exclusively play this genre. It airs on Sunday nights from 12 midnight until 3 am.
