WHAG-TV "NBC25" is an NBC affiliate based in Hagerstown, Maryland. The station can be seen in four states—Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Its transmitter is located 18 miles west of Hagerstown, atop Fairview Mountain near Clear Spring, Maryland. The station's main studios are in Downtown Hagerstown in the Alexander House Hotel. NBC25 also has bureau reporters working in Frederick, Maryland and Cumberland, Maryland.

Despite being designated a part of the Washington DC market, the station operates like a small market station, focusing on areas in the market west of Frederick County, Maryland. Reporters are often hired directly out of college, and serve as 'one man band' reporters shooting, writing and editing their stories. Most reporters and anchors stay at WHAG for a year or two before moving to a larger market. The station is owned and operated by Nexstar Broadcasting Group.

WHAG-TV began broadcasting at the beginning of 1970, and had become the city's NBC affiliate from the beginning, despite hoping to pick up affiliation from ABC. Initially, the station aired a mix of local and network offerings. The Valley News, the station's first local news program, began programming with three editions at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 11:00 p.m. A weekend edition was added two years later.

The original owner of the station was Warren Adler, who also owned four radio stations at the time. Adler sold off WHAG and his other assets in 1973, and began to pursue a career in publishing; he would go on to publish successful novels such as Undertow and The War of The Roses.

Weatherman Lou Scally has been doing the evening weather at WHAG since the early 1980s, and pulls double duty by also hosting the morning show at Hagerstown radio station WJEJ-AM.

Recently, WHAG-TV has been added to the Dish Network lineup of local offerings, and is available to subscribers that currently receive the Washington DC market locals. It is available on Channel 25 (on newer STB's) or channel 8086 in the standard lineup. WHAG does not carry NBC'S Early Today, instead there is Shepherd's Chapel at 4:00 a.m. and Agday at 5:00 a.m. before the morning newscasts from 5:30 to 7 a.m. preceding The Today Show

In 2006, NBC25 switched their website from NBC25.com to Your4State.com. The website was relaunched in September 2006 and is owned by Nexstar.
