WMZQ-FM

WMZQ-FM is a radio station located at 98.7 FM in Washington, D.C.. The station has had a country music format since the late 1970s. Before becoming country, they had been WMOD, an oldies station. The station had been owned by Sonderling, then Viacom, then AM/FM and is now owned by Clear Channel.

WMZQ-FM is a Clear Channel Communications radio station.

Prior to Ben and Brian doing the Morning Show on the station, Murphy and Cash were the morning show team. They were replaced by Ben and Brian in 2002 (Gary Murphy and Jessica Cash moved to WBIG-FM, also owned by Clear Channel). Murphy and Cash were released from WBIG in 2006 -- Gary has since moved on to radio sales in Baltimore, while Jessica Cash can be found co-hosting mornings on WFLS (Fredericksburg, VA).
