Wallace Langham

Wallace Langham (Born March 11, 1965 in Fort Worth, Texas) is an American character actor who has been seen on many famous television shows either in guest roles or starring roles.

He used to play billed as Wally Ward. Langham first got his start in the John Hughes movie Weird Science, as well as in The Invisible Kid and the ABC Afterschool Special entitled Just a Regular Kid: An AIDS Story but later moved to roles as a young bigot in Soul Man and as a gang leader in The Chocolate War. He performed in the Eddie Murphy comedy Daddy Day Care, And was last seen in the comedy Little Miss Sunshine.

Langham dropped the Ward moniker in the 1990s as he moved to more adult roles, appearing as a regular in the much-hyped but short-lived CBS series WIOU, although he almost opened a coffee shop in a moment of despair. His big breakthrough came when he was cast as Phil, the cynical head writer for insecure talk show host Garry Shandling, in HBO's hit sitcom The Larry Sanders Show. Langham then took on TV's most prominent potentially gay role since Ellen in NBC's Veronica's Closet, playing Kirstie Alley's uptight assistant Josh. He then appeared on the short-lived Joan Cusack sitcom What About Joan?. He has also guest-starred on many shows including, Murphy Brown, Newsradio, ER, Murder, She Wrote, Sex and the City, Medium, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, Star Trek: Voyager and Grace Under Fire.

Was the voice of Andy French on the short-lived animated series Mission Hill.

He voices Basil Karlo/Clayface in the WB animated series The Batman.

He can currently be seen starring as lab technician David Hodges on the CBS hit series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

He was accused of beating a stringer for Star Magazine during an altercation on September 7, 1999. He was charged with one count of misdemeanor battery and one count of committing a hate crime. He agreed to a six-figure settlement with the reporter who accused him of an anti-gay hate crime on January 26, 2000. The altercation between the two men stemmed from remarks that the reporter allegedly made about Langham's girlfriend.

He is part of the pre-show for the ride DINOSAUR in Disney's Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. He explains the reason for going back in time and saving a stray dinosaur and his voice can be heard throughout the ride.
