Warrington Wizards are a British rugby league team. They were first invited into the league by the RFL in 2003, on the creation of the new National League Three, the 4th tier of British Rugby League, which they won in its inaugural year.

Prior to their joining of the national league, the Woolston Rovers clubhouse was destroyed by a large fire, along with all the memorabilia within. Playing under the name of Warrington Woolston Rovers, and based at Wilderspool Stadium, they beat Teesside Steelers in the final, with a score of 42-6, to be crowned champions.

In their second season of national league rugby, Warrington Woolston Rovers finished the season in third spot, defeating Bradford Dudley Hill in the play-off to make the Grand Final in Halton Stadium, Widnes, where they lost to Coventry Aquatic Bears by 48-24.

The end of that season marked a revamp for the team, the summer and winter teams adopting separate names, logos and colours to help alleviate confusion between them. This confusion had led to Woolston Rovers (the new winter team) being relegated even though they had won their league and then failing to have a winter team in 2004-5 season. Meanwhile, the summer team, Warrington Wizards, have established a 2nd team, playing in the RLC North West Division, facilitating competitive matches for those players pressing for a first team spot.
