Warrior's Triumph Structure Deck

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Warrior's Triumph (SD5) is a structure deck for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game released in America in late 2005. It is based on warrior-type monsters with some spell and trap cards for support. This deck relied on using Equip cards to boost the attack of your Warriors. It contains 39 commons and one Ultra Rare card (Gilford the Legend, this is not the same as Gilford the Lightning from the 2005 Collector Tins). Because all previous structure decks (not counting the "starter decks") only included one new card, this was the first of the structure decks released for the TCG that also contained more than one new card, "Warrior Lady of the Wasteland" and "Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade", as well as the aforementioned "Gilford the Legend". The deck is famous among players, as some of the most powerful and hard-to-get warriors such as D.D. Warrior Lady, Maruading Captain, Gearfried The Swordmaster, and Goblin Attack Force are made common in this deck. The deck is also famous for making common the powerful Royal Decree Trap card, which, prior, could only be achieved as an ultra rare in a Tournament pack.
