Waterfall railway station is a Sydney railway station serving the suburb of Waterfall, New South Wales and is the last stop of the suburban section of the Illawara line. Contents

Waterfall has sidings for staging goods trains in either direction and a bypass track for goods trains on either side of the platforms (the 'Up and Down refuge loops'). There are also 3 sidings for the stabling of suburban electric trains to the east of the station.

The station receives approximately 2 trains an hour in off-peak, with more services in peak hours. Some South Coast line trains stop at the station, although others are usually prevented from doing so when a suburban train is terminating at the station and use the 2 outside passing tracks. Trains may terminate on either platform before returing to the city.
