Waverton is a suburb on the North Shore region of Sydney, Australia. It is part of the North Sydney local government area. It has a railway station on the North Shore Line.
Waverton has a village-like collection of shops around the station, including an IGA supermarket, a bottle shop, a video store, and several restaurants and cafes.
A popular picnic destination, especially when there are harbour fireworks, is the bushland peninsula of Balls Head
