Westfalenhalle

Westfalenhalle is a trade fair center, indoor sporting arena and concert venue located in Dortmund in Germany. The original building was opened in 1925 but was destroyed during World War II. The new one was opened in 1952.
Many pop singers like Bob Marley, Cher, Paul McCartney, Tina Turner, Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra have performed at the venue, as have rock bands like The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden and Manowar. Iron Maiden recorded Death on the Road, a live CD and DVD, at the venue on November 24, 2003.
The venue also played host to the 1964, 1980 and 2004 World Figure Skating Championships.
The capacity of the arena is 16,500.
