Westside Connection was a group consisting of Ice Cube, WC, and Mack 10. The group's debut album, Bow Down, reached the # 2 position on the Billboard 200 in 1996. The group was formed during the East Coast-West Coast hip hop rivalry, coming out after the death of 2Pac. They have had feuds with Cypress Hill, Common, Kam, and Q-Tip.

Contents

After a long hiatus the group released their second album Terrorist Threats in 2003 hallmarked by the lead single "Gangsta Nation" featuring Nate Dogg.

In 2005 Mack 10 left the group due to a conflict between him and some group members.[1] While Ice Cube has stated that another Westside Connection album could be released, he has said Mack 10 will not be a part of the group.[citation needed]
