Whiplash is a fictional character from the Marvel Universe who is one of the Femme Fatales, a group of female mercenaries hired to battle Spider-Man. Her real name was Leeann Foreman and she is a mutant who used adamantium wires which were connected to her gloves as whips.
She is apparently a mutant who was possibly depowered after the events of M-Day. She first appeared as a member of the band of Baddies in Marvel Comics Presents #49.
Recently two other minor-league villains, one male, one female, have appeared bearing the names Whiplash and Blacklash. Both are past associates of the current Swordsman, Andreas Strucker, and were frequenters of leather parties before taking up the name of the original Blacklash, who is now dead. There were forcibly recruited into the Thunderbolts, and tried to attack Swordsman before the fight was quieted down by the arrival of Baron Zemo, the Fixer, and the other Thunderbolts.
