Wild and Peaceful was the sixth album released by the funk band Kool and the Gang. The album was released in 1973, and was highly successful in the R&B charts, while also topping the Billboard charts. The hugely popular track on the album, Jungle Boogie, soared to number 4 as a top ten as a single, and became a club staple.
