William Cavendish, 3rd Earl of Devonshire (c. October 10, 1617 – November 23, 1684) was the son of William Cavendish, 2nd Earl of Devonshire.

He married Lady Elizabeth Cecil, daughter of William Cecil, 2nd Earl of Salisbury, on 4 March 1639. They had two children:
