Wilmer Valderrama (born January 30, 1980) is a comic actor best known for the role of Fez in the sitcom That '70s Show and as the host of the MTV series Yo Momma.

Valderrama was born in Miami, Florida on January 30, 1980 to immigrant parents. They moved to Venezuela when he was three years old, and again moved to Los Angeles from Venezuela at the age of fourteen.[1]

He did not speak English upon his arrival, but he quickly learned the language in school and began drama classes during high school. Valderrama has said that he was aided in learning English from watching shows such as '


Valderrama was previously in a serious relationship with Lindsay Lohan[5], and dated Mandy Moore for 18 months in 2000.

Valderrama co-owns three restaurants: Dolce, The Lodge, and Geisha House.

  • Valderrama has been Punk'd three times by Ashton Kutcher. He currently holds the record for being Punk'd the most.
  • In an episode of That '70s Show, when the kids' high school yearbooks were shown, Fez was voted "Most Likely to Play Ponch in the Musical Version of CHiPs." In 2008, Valderrama will star in the movie version of CHiPs as Ponch. He also played Ponch alongside Danny Masterson and Mila Kunis in a parody entitled "CHiPS 2002" on an episode of MadTV.
  • Valderrama was named to People magazine's "Top 50 Bachelors" in 2002.
  • An episode of Celebrity Deathmatch depicted Valderrama in a match against Nick Cannon. He won.
  • Valderrama cameos in Cypress Hill's video clip for the song "What's your Number".
