Windows Live Dev is a development center and supplier of software development kits for the Windows Live platform. It provides information on getting started with Windows Live services, latest documentation and APIs, samples, access to community areas and relevant blogs, and announcements of future releases and innovations.

The Windows Live Platform allows developers to have a deeper control and offers access to the core Windows Live services and data through open and easily accessible APIs. Developers can build applications and mashups that combine innovation with the power of Windows Live services and social relationships.[1]
