The Wodonga Raiders, also known as the Wodonga Raiders Football Club originally played in the Tallangatta and District Football League as the Kergunyah Football Club.

In 1976 that club became the Wodonga Demon's Football and Sports Club and games were played at Martin Park, Wodonga. The Rural City of Wodonga Council developed sporting facilities at West Wodonga and the "Demon's" moved to Biralee Park.

During the mid 1980's the Club made a series of applications to join the Ovens and Murray Football League. In 1988 the club was accepted into the League after defeating the Mitta United Football Club in the Tallangatta and District Football League grand final.

They changed their name to the Wodonga Raiders Football Club so as to not cause confusion with the Benalla Demons and the long established Wodonga Football Club.

They won there first O and M preimership in 1998 defeated the Lavington Panthers Football Club at the Lavington Sports Ground.
