Woodlands Regional Bus Interchange (Chinese: 兀兰区域巴士转换站) was completed and opened along with the Woodlands extension of the North South MRT Line in 1996. It is the first underground bus interchange, and one of the biggest in Singapore. The old Woodlands Bus Interchange was converted into a terminus for people leaving Singapore. Later, it was deemed obsolete and ceased operations.

Woodlands Regional Bus Interchange was the first underground interchange in Singapore to accommodate articulated buses. It used to be the 3rd biggest bus interchange in terms of bus services but because more bus services was introduced, it is up to par with Bedok Bus Interchange, sharing the 2nd biggest bus interchange position which at present have 29 bus services each. The interchange is propriated by SMRT Corporation.
