WrestleMania VI was the sixth pay-per-view event, and the first WrestleMania to be held outside of the U.S. It took place on April 1, 1990 at the SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario with an announced attendance of 67,678.

WrestleMania VI was subtitled The Ultimate Challenge, which was also the name given to the main event between Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior, who were the two most popular wrestlers in the WWF at the time. The match was for both the WWF Championship (which was held by Hogan), and the Intercontinental Championship (which was held by Warrior), and was billed as "Champion vs. Champion, Title for Title".
