WrestleMania X-Seven was the seventeenth annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). It took place on April 1, 2001 at the Reliant Astrodome in Houston, Texas. The event was the first WrestleMania held in the state of Texas. A record-breaking attendance for the Reliant Astrodome of 67,925 resulted in gross receipts of $3.5 million.

WrestleMania X-Seven is considered to be the event that concluded the Attitude Era for the World Wrestling Federation and the pinnacle of the 1990s wrestling boom. The tagline for WrestleMania X-Seven was "Houston... We Have A Problem". The official theme song for the event was "My Way" by Limp Bizkit.

• Chris Jericho defeated William Regal to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship (7:08)

• Kane defeated Raven (c) and The Big Show in a Triple Threat Hardcore Match to win the WWF Hardcore Championship (9:18)
  • Kane pinned Big Show after a Leg drop off the stage.
• Eddie Guerrero (w/ Perry Saturn) defeated Test to win the WWF European Championship (8:30)
  • Guerrero pinned Test after hitting him with the title belt.
• Kurt Angle defeated Chris Benoit (14:02)
  • Angle pinned Benoit with a roll-up using Benoit's tights for leverage.
• Chyna defeated Ivory to win the WWF Women's Championship (2:39)
  • Chyna pinned Ivory after a Gorilla Press Drop.
• Shane McMahon defeated Vince McMahon (w/Mick Foley as special guest referee) in a Street Fight (14:12)
  • Shane pinned Vince after a Coast-to-Coast dropkick through a garbage can.
• Edge and Christian defeated The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von) (c) and The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff) in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match to win the WWF Tag Team Championship (15:42)
  • Edge and Christian won after by climbing a ladder and retrieving the belts hanging above the ring.
  • During the match, Lita interefered on behalf of the Hardy Boyz, Spike Dudley interfered for the Dudley Boyz, and Rhyno interefered for Edge & Christian.

• The Iron Sheik won a Gimmick Battle Royal featuring: Luke Williams, Butch Miller, Duke Droese, Doink the Clown, Nikolai Volkoff, Tugboat, The Goon, Earthquake, The Gobbledygooker, Hillbilly Jim, Brother Love, Michael Hayes, One Man Gang, Kamala, Kim Chee, Jim Cornette, Repo Man, and Sgt.   • The Iron Sheik won by eliminating Hillbilly Jim last.
  • After the match Slaughter locked a Cobra clutch on The Iron Sheik.
• The Undertaker defeated Triple H (18:17)

• Steve Austin defeated The Rock in a No Disqualification match to win the WWF Championship (28:06)

• Lilian Garcia sang a rendition of "America the Beautiful" before the show.
• This event marked the second time that the WrestleMania main event featured The Rock and Steve Austin (the first was at WrestleMania XV. A third match would also take place at WrestleMania XIX).
• This event holds the record for most title changes at a single WrestleMania with 5. The WWF Championship, Tag Team Championship, Women's Championship, European Championship and Hardcore Championship titles all changed hands.
• This WrestleMania took place only about a week after the World Wrestling Federation announced the purchase of long time rival promotion, World Championship Wrestling.
• Bobby "The Brain" Heenan called his first WrestleMania match in eight years alongside "Mean" Gene Okerlund when the two called the Gimmick Battle Royal.
• Due to his unexpected departure from the company a month earlier, this was the first WrestleMania not to feature Jerry "The King" Lawler as a commentator since WrestleMania IX.
