Wrestle War was a professional wrestling pay-per-view promoted by World Championship Wrestling. It was held in the month of May in 1989 and 1992 and the month of February in 1990 and 1991. The first two Wrestle War's were under the NWA banner.

  • After the match, Funk attacked Flair after Flair turned down a title match
• The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) (w/Paul Ellering) defeated NWA World Tag Team Champions The Varsity Club (Mike Rotunda and Steve Williams) (w/Kevin Sullivan) (w/Nikita Koloff as Special Guest Referee) by disqualification (6:06)
  • The Varsity Club was disqualified when Dan Spivey and Sullivan pulled Koloff out of the ring, The Varsity Club retained the title.
• Eddie Gilbert and Rick Steiner (w/Missy Hyatt) defeated The Varsity Club (Kevin Sullivan and Dan Spivey) to retain the NWA United States Tag Team Championship (6:41)
  • Gilbert pinned Sullivan.
• The Oak Ridge Boys performed at the show.

  • The Four Horsemen won when Pillman was knocked unconscious from a botched powerbomb by Vicious, prompting El Gigante to run-in and surrender the match on Pillman's behalf.
  • Zbyszko was a replacement for the injured Anderson.
