Xiah is a Chinese MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game). The game is completely free to play. Xiah was designed for players to enjoy martial arts in the form of a MMORPG. Xiah offeres a detailed 3D environment and a HCI (Human Computer Interface), which includes as game support level, convenience, and esthetic configuration.

What makes Xiah innovative is its AI. Xiah's Artificial Intelligence system (AI) is based on the Artificial Emotion (AE) for monsters. The NPCs in Xiah are based on the AI system also. For example, a monster running away can return to attack users when it meets friends to cooperate, and monsters who are attacked but not killed will remember its attacker.

Xiah offers both the first and third person view. Basically, users can see background and the character and move conveniently by clicking in the third person view. Both the First person and Third person do not affect the game play or interface.[1]

One of Xiah's main goal as a game includes creating a new experience for MMORPGs. In the interview with Jang, the developers tried to inplement features that are unique within the the genre. One example of this is the ability for characters to fly.

Another example is the wide variety of gears and weapons. Jang says "Depending on the level of your character your clothes and gear change. This feature allows for diffrentation in the game and helps reduce the chances of gamers playing clones."[2]
