To yank is a verb, meaning "to pull hard". For example, someone observing someone else having difficulty pulling a bath plug out of its hole might say "go on, give it a good yank".
"Yank" may also refer to:
- Yank, an abbreviated form of Yankee, a word used in some English-speaking countries to refer to Americans, and within the USA to refer to Northerners
