The Yamada Line (山田線) is a rail line in Japan. Part of the East Japan Railway Company, it runs from Morioka Station in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture to Kamaishi Station in Kamaishi, Iwate Prefecture via Miyako Station in Miyako, Iwate Prefecture. From Kamaishi Station to Miyako Station, trains goes by the Sanriku-Kaigan Sea, famous as the ria coast. On the other hand, the tracks from Miyako Station to Morioka Station goes deep into the mountains along Hei River. No regular train runs across Miyako Station, so this line is just like two totally different lines.
