Yorkshire–Tyne Tees Television

Yorkshire-Tyne Tees Television was a British broadcasting consortium, which is now part of ITV plc. The company was created in 1992 from the merger of the Independent Television broadcasters Yorkshire Television and Tyne Tees Television which broadcast to Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East of England, United Kingdom. The company was purchased by Granada Television in 1997, forming Granada Media Group. Granada Plc then went on to merge with Carlton Communications, forming ITV plc.
