Yukon Territory Order of Polaris

The Order of Polaris is given out by the government of Canada's Yukon Territory for:

  • great service to the territory
  • service to the people of the territory
  • unique culture

The medal was originally given to bush pilots servicing the territory, as the Order of Polaris with Flying Bar in 1973.

Any Canadian citizen who is a current or former resident of Yukon is eligible for nomination.
