ZOEgirl is a Christian pop rock band made up of Chrissy Conway-Katina, Alisa Childers and Kristin Schweain, who burst onto the scene with their debut album in 2000, which had four different top five radio hits. In 2002, ZOEgirl was given a Dove Award for the top New Artist of the Year. Since then they have released three more albums and have one extended play disc.

On September 2006 via their ZOEgirl fan club site, the group announced that they would quit recording music as a group so that members could tend to their personal objectives:

  • Kristin Schweain gave birth to her baby, February 13th. She will continue writing and recording songs for her upcoming album.

  • In the Christian video game Dance Praise, three ZOEgirl songs are included: "I Believe", "Dismissed", and "Suddenly". Two other songs can be added to the game via the Dance Praise expansion pack, Dance Praise Expansion Pack Volume 1: Modern Worship, "Beautiful Name" and "Even If". "You Get Me" can be added via the Dance Praise Expansion Pack Volume 3: Pop & Rock Hits.
