Zeta Virginis (ζ Vir / ζ Virginis) is a star in the constellation Virgo. It also has the traditional name Heze, which is not often used and of unclear origin.

The star is known as Jiao Xiu 2 (角宿二) in Chinese constellation.

ζ Virginis is a white main sequence dwarf star of apparent magnitude 3.37 and spectral class A3V about 74 light years from Earth. It has a luminosity 18 times that of the sun with a surface temperature of 8400 kelvins. Its mass is just under 2 solar masses.

The star has an unusually fast rotation period of less than 0.5 days.
